The “Development of the territory – contexts of political and institutional (in) action: the case of Vale do Ave” seminar will be held on March 5, at 3 pm, led by Paula Dourado.

Paula Dourado is a sociologist and collaborative researcher at CECS. She is currently a senior consultant in the Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, in the areas of Internationalization and Tourism. She has extensive professional experience in regional development processes and in instruments for political action and their social and economic impacts. She holds a PhD in Sociology, from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto.
She is the author of the publication The M(in)isterium of Territory Development – on the social and political construction of Vale do Ave between 1985-2013, 2017.

The seminar is open access and takes place through the zoom platform.

The event is organized by the Festivity: cultural heritage and community sustainability. Interplays between research and communication: the ‘Bugiada e Mouriscada de Sobrado’ case.
