The eighth Doctoral Seminar of Communication Sciences and Cultural Studies of the academic year 2021-2022 will take place on April 29, at 2:30 p.m., in the Sala de Atos of the University of Minho. Luís Cunha, professor at the University of Minho, is the guest speaker; “Ethnographic Methodology” is the theme.
Luís Cunha is PhD in Anthropology, by the University of Minho, in 2003, and is a Lecturer and Director of the Sociology Department at the UM. As his studies focus on social and national identities, frontiers and lusophony, he is also interested in social memories, particularly in a context of multiple crises, financial, political and social. He is a member of the research centre CRIA. Luís Cunha has recently been awarded with the Manuel da Fonseca National Prize, with his book “Vinte Mil Léguas de Palavras”.
