Seminar “Cariri Observatory on Cultural Practices Policies: reports of an experience”

The Seminar “Cariri Observatory of Policies on Cultural Practices: reports of an experience”, promoted by the Observatory on Science, Communication and Culture Policies (POLObs), will take place on August 4. The session will be broadcast via Zoom at 3 pm.

This edition’s guest is the assistant professor at the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA), João Adolfo Bandeira. He will present the work developed in recent years by the Cariri Observatory on Cultural Policies and Practices, associated with the Pro-Rectory of Culture of UFCA.

João Adolfo Bandeira is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Cariri – UFCA. Bachelor of Laws from the Regional University of Cariri – URCA (2012). He has a master’s in Legal Sciences from the Postgraduate Program in Legal Sciences of the Federal University of Paraíba – PPGCJ – UFPB (2014) and a PhD in Legal Sciences in this same program (2020). He focuses on Human Rights and Development in cotutelle with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, in Philosophy, subarea Philosophy of Law (2020) – Doctor of Philosophy. He completed a sandwich PhD mission at the University Eduardo Mondlane – Mozambique (2018). He is currently the Head of the Division of Human Rights and Combating Oppression of the Pro-Rectory of Culture of the Federal University Cariri – PROCULT-UFCA.
