PolObs Seminar: “Jazz in Portuguese Higher Education: Training and Integration into the Artistic Labour Market”

The seminar “Jazz in Portuguese Higher Education: Training and Integration into the Artistic Labour Market” will be held on March 12 at 3 pm as part of the PolObs Culture 2024 Seminar Cycle—Connecting Doctoral Projects with Cultural Policies. It will be broadcast online via Zoom.

This session’s guest, Carlos Levezinho, a senior arts support technician at the Directorate-General for the Arts (Ministry of Culture), will deliver a preliminary and exploratory analysis of the statistical data concerning higher education jazz courses in Portugal. This effort contributes to designing more informed and tangible educational and employment policies.
