Moisés de Lemos Martins, director of the Communication and Society Research Centre, will participate, next January 25, in the seminar “Refugees: Echoes of the Past, Silences of the Present”.
At the Biblioteca Lúcio Craveiro da Silva, which will start at 9:00 a.m., the seminar will take place in the context of the International Day in Memory of the Holocaust Victims, with the participation of several personalities at national and local level, whose area of interest and/or interest is the reality of refugees. Moisés de Lemos Martins will participate in the third panel of the day, which begins at 2.30 pm, with the theme “Holocaust, holocausts?”
According to the organization, the scientific event aims to “bridge the intolerances of the twentieth century and current intolerances and prejudices, in a line of ideas that think the past to rethink and reorganize the present.”
