The session ‘Micar out of doors: under the carpet’ will be held on May 23 at 3 pm in the ICS Sala de Atos.
During the session, the documentary ‘Under the Carpet’, directed by Carlos Costa and produced by Catarina Demony, will be screened, followed by a debate, by way of reflection, to help deconstruct the structural racism in Portuguese society and the legacy of colonialism and human trafficking between the 15th and 19th centuries.
The event, with the participation of Catarina Demony and José Pedro Monteiro, is jointly organised by the CECS Communication and Diversity Seminar and SOS Racismo.
