On June 21, at 9:30 am, a series of scientific sessions on Climate Change and Tourism will be held at the DST Auditorium of the School of Economics and Management of UMinho and online. The CLICTOUR – Climate change resilient tourism in protected areas of Northern Portugal organises the event.
CLICTOUR is a research project focused on issues related to tourism resilience to climate change in nature-protected areas, developed by the University of Minho and ICNF (Portuguese Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests), specifically the Centre for Research in Economics and Management (NIPE) and the Communication and Society Research Centre (CECS).
The project’s outcomes will be presented on the morning of June 21 under the theme “CLICTOUR Roadmap.” Additionally, a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders is scheduled. In the afternoon, networking opportunities with the scientific community, including young researchers, doctoral students, and master’s students interested in these topics, will be provided.
