Seven new actions of 2CN-CLab in Brazil

Between July 31 and August 26, the Cultural Cooperation Networks – Creative Laboratory (2CN-CLab) will hold seven actions for researchers, practitioners and future professionals from the cultural sector in Fortaleza, Salvador, Sobral and Recife, Brazil.

The 2CN-CLab, promoted by the CECS’ Communication and Culture Policy Observatory (POLObs), is an itinerant creative laboratory that aims to promote a critical and constructive discussion about cultural networks and thus raise awareness and enhance the training professionals and future professionals in the cultural sector for qualified participation in organizations of this nature.

2CN-CLab’s first mission to Brazil took place in October 2017, as a result of a partnership with the Research and Training Center of the Social Service of Commerce of São Paulo. Based on the evaluation made and the establishment of new partnerships, namely with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture and with Colon, Cultural Association, it was possible to carry out a 2nd mission to Brazil in August. 2018, which included activities in Bahia, the Federal District, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco and São Paulo.

In 2019, as a result of the partnership with Funarte and Sesi, two more missions of 2CN-CLab in Brazil are planned to boost a diversified set of actions in seven Brazilian states. The mission has the collaboration of a dozen Brazilian public and private organizations from the academic and cultural sectors.
