Tadeu Feitosa: “The tendency is Lusofonia, as an integrative cultural force, to unite the peoples who speak the Portuguese language”

Luiz Tadeu Feitosa, a visiting researcher at CECS, has been a full professor at the Federal University of Ceará since 1992, where he teaches in librarianship and social communication courses.

In the postdoctoral program in which he currently participates, Tadeu Feitosa investigates the area of Culture and the media, as well as the relationship between Culture and mediations.

In Portugal, he develops a comparative study between the Portuguese reality and the Brazilian reality – that studies about 22 years ago – on the relation between cultural changes and the cultural changes provoked by the media. It develops this research through the look of Cultural Studies.

For Tadeu Feitosa, “the tendency is Lusofonia, as an integrative cultural force, to unite the peoples who speak the Portuguese language”.
