Transmedia Literacy International Conference: Registration until February 15

The registration period for the “Transmedia Literacy International Conference” (Teenagers, Tansmedia Skills and Informal Learning Strategies in the New Media Ecology), which will be held in Barcelona (Universitat Pompeu Fabra) from March 22 to 24, is open until February 15. Registration for congressists with proposals accepted, runs until February 15 and for other participants, as of February 16.

David Buckingham – University of Loughborough (United Kingdom), Divina Frau-Meigs – Université Sorbonne Nouvelle (France), and Alejandro Piscitelli – University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) will be keynote speakers

“Transmedia Literacy International Conference” marks the end of the European Transliteracy project, which began in June 2016 and aims to understand the relevance of media practices in the lives of adolescents from eight countries (Australia, Colombia, Spain, Finland, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom and Uruguay), mapping the cross-media skills of young people aged 12-18. The Portuguese team includes Sara Pereira, Manuel Pinto, Pedro Moura, Joana Fillol and Andreia Lobo.
