The V International Congress on Cultures – What culture(s) for the 21st century? comes after an intense scientific debate anchored in the creation of the scientific area of cultural studies, with the holding of a meeting under the theme of “Cultures in Motion”. Founded in a solid scientific and academic partnership driven by a scientific area that has been affirming its centrality to meet a critical idea of University, this V International Congress seeks to identify the challenges for culture in this early-twentieth century.
It is intended that this V International Congress on Cultures – What culture(s) for the twenty-first century? is a space for a broad debate that contributes to the development and consolidation of this community of researchers.
