Vânia Tajra defends PhD in Communication Sciences

The doctoral exams in Communication Sciences by Vânia Maria Magalhães Tajra will be held on April 26 (2:30 p.m.), in the ICS (Social Sciences Institute) Sala de Atos of the University of Minho, in Braga. The thesis is supervised by Sergio Denicoli (researcher in CECS) and Joaquim Fidalgo (Lecturer in the Department of Communication Sciences at UMinho and a researcher in CECS), and is entitled “Civil Mark of Brazilian’s Internet: a transition to a digital democracy model”.
The panel of examiners will be chaired by Manuel Pinto, representing UMinho’s dean, and the following members:
– Manuel Joaquim da Silva Pinto, full professor at UMinho’s Communication Sciences Department, and a researcher in CECS;
– Fernando Zamith, Lecturer in the Department of Communication and Information Sciences at Faculty of Arts of University of Porto;
– Luís Miguel Loureiro, Lecturer at Lusófona University of Porto;
– Luís António Santos, Lecturer at Department of Communication Sciences at UMinho and a researcher in CECS;
– Elsa Costa e Silva, Lecturer at Department of Communication Sciences at UMinho and a researcher in CECS;
– Sergio Denicoli, resercher in CECS
