On 25 June, MILOBs is organising the event ‘Truth or Consequence? 1st Regional Meeting of School Media’, in the auditorium of the Freixo School Group in Freixo, Ponte de Lima.
The morning programme features workshops for pupils (“Workshops for pupils to share experiences” and “How to make information on social media easier to understand”) and for teachers (“What can be news at school? Criteria, ideas and practices”).
In the afternoon, there will be a presentation by Sara Pereira (MILOBs /UMinho), “School Media: a tour of 12 schools”, and the panel discussion “The school in today’s world: what to discuss and why?”.
The day concludes with an exhibition of the work produced in the morning workshops.
