2CN-CLab Meeting 2017 “Culture, Cooperation and Networks: Alto Minho” – Viana do Castelo and Vila Nova de Cerveira

The III 2CN-CLab Meeting “Culture, Cooperation and Networks” took place on September 7 and 8, at Municipal Library of Viana do Castelo and at Cultural Forum of Cerveira, and were co-promoted by the Cerveira Biennial Art Foundation and the Municipality of Viana do Castelo.

On the frist day, Álvaro Campelo (University Fernando Pessoa) was responsible for the opening conference “Cultural Cooperation Networks” and Fernanda Vilas Boas, Joana Carvalho (Dínamo 10), João Gigante and Helena Mendes Pereira (Convento de São Payo) integrated the two roundtables “Experiencies of networking in the cultural sector”. On the second day there were technical visits to the Fundação Bienal de Arte de Cerveira and to the Centro Dramático de Viana do Castelo.

The next 2CN-CLab Meeting 2017 “Culture, Cooperation and Networks” will be in São Paulo (Brazil), on 18 and 19 October, and will be co-promoted by Centro de Pesquisa e Formação do Serviço Social do Comércio São Paulo.
2CN-CLab is being organized by CECS within the Post-Doctoral Research project “Transnational Cultural Cooperation Networks”, conducted by Manuel Gama with the support of FCT (SFRH/BPD/101985/2014).

The next activity will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, on October 18 and 19, with the initiative “Cultural, Cooperation and Networking Days: a look at the urban territory”, which will take place at Sesc São Paulo (Research Center and Training and Sesc Campo Limpo). The meeting aims to bring together organizations and professionals to discuss and provoke qualified practices of cooperative networking.
