“Communication in higher education institutions: critical competence and sustainability” was the theme of the doctoral seminar that took place on October 16th, at University of Minho.
At a meeting attended by several professors, researchers and students in the area of Strategic Communication, Victoria Carrillo Durán of the University of Extremadura presented the conference “The Role of Social Networking Sites (SNSs) in Building the Reputation of Higher Education Organizations (HEOs)”.
Vasco Ribeiro, from the University of Porto, Elaine Vianna from the National Institute of Industrial Property of Brazil, and Arminda Sá Sequeira from the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto gave body to the panel “Universities: to communicate or not to communicate, that is the question?”.
In the afternoon, the seminar was continued through a research workshop with CECS researchers Ana Melo, José Gabriel Andrade, Sara Balonas, Paula Campos Ribeiro, Elaine Vianna and Sónia Silva. Victoria Carrillo Durán also participated at this time of day.
