It was extended until September 30 the deadline for the call for papers for the second issue of vista, biannual publication in the area of Communication Sciences and in the field of image studies.
Created in 2015 by the Working Group on Visual Culture of the Portuguese Association for the Communication Sciences (SOPCOM), vista is an online journal that aims to promote the transdisciplinary debate on the processes of visual mediation of culture (photography, film, television, video games and digital media …).
This issue is edited by Isabel Macedo (CECS) and José Gomes Pinto (CICANT) and seeks to explore the role of media and material, textual, photographic, audiovisual, digital, etc., archives in the reconstruction of memory. The editors will be looking forward for articles that, from different disciplinary areas, deal with memory, images and archives.
