To mark the World Portuguese Language Day, the Virtual Museum of Lusophony, run by CECS (Communication and Society Research Centre, UMinho), in collaboration with CICANT (Center for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies, U. Lusophone), is hosting a webinar that invites reflection on the Portuguese language from the perspective of non-native speakers—that is, from other points of view.
The event will take place exclusively online on May 5 at 5:00 p.m. (Lisbon time). It will feature Celestino Joanguete, professor at the School of Communication and Arts at Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique, and Ewa Łukaszyk, professor at the University of Ostrava, Czech Republic. The webinar will be moderated by Isabel Macedo, professor and researcher at the University of Minho, Portugal.
