During May, the Creative Lab 2CN-CLab began in Portugal the Working Days about the Ibero-American Cultural Charter. The activities were co-promoted with the City Hall of Vila Nova de Famalicão and City Hall of Loulé, and were dynamized in the respective cities on days 9 and 15.
At the 2CN-CLab Working Days, a group of twenty participants meet for a day to critically analyze and discuss the Ibero-American Cultural Charter and, on the other hand, to try to identify points of affinity that, in the light of the its practices and the spirit of the Charter and 2CN-CLab, contribute to the design or consolidation of cultural projects in a network in the local, Portuguese or Ibero-American contexts.
In addition to the Working Days, was held on 28 the 2CN-CLab Talk “Culture, Networks and Politics: What do we talk about when we talk about Cultural Networks?”. The action was hosted by the School of Education and Social Sciences, Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and was attended by Manuel Gama (University of Minho), Fernanda Pinheiro (University of Minho), Enne Marx (Palhaças em REDE), José Gil (S.A Marionetas), João Nazário (Jornal de Leiria) e Guilherme Garrido (Festival A Porta).
The activities of the 2CN-CLab are framed in the actions of the Observatory of Communication and Culture’s Policies of CECS and the research project “Transnational Cultural Cooperation Networks: Portugal European, Lusophone and Ibero-American”, coordinated by Manuel Gama, supported by FCT (SFRH / BPD / 101985/2014) and developed at the University of Minho, University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and University of São Paulo (Brazil).
The next Working Day “Iberoamerican Cultural Charter” will be on 29 june and will be supported by the City Hall of Viana do Castelo. Registration is free, but must be done through the online form, available here.
