Yue Chen: new PhD in Cultural Studies

The PhD viva of Yue Chen in Cultural Studies was held on January 15 at 2.30 pm, at Sala de Atos of the Institute of Social Sciences.

The thesis, supervised by Jean-Martin Rabot, is entitled Nostalgia for the Past: culture and Fashion in Contemporary China.

The jury, chaired by Paula Remoaldo, was made up of:

– Moisés Adão de Lemos Martins, Full Professor, Department of Communication Sciences, Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho;

– Fernando Alberto Torres Moreira, Full Professor, Department of Letters, Arts and Communication, School of Human and Social Sciences, University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro;
